Former model and the center of the biggest sex scandal of the 20th century Christine Keeler has died at the age of 75. Her family confirmed that she had died on Monday night at Princess Royal University Hospital (Farnborough Common, Kent). Former Model was Suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, a condition of affecting the lungs. She had been ill for several months.

Cristine Keeler was the name who bring down the Harold Macmillan’s government by having an affair with John Profumo, (British Politician). Profumo was eventually forced to resign after lying to parliament about his affair with Cristine. His fall from grace was deemed a contributory factor in the fall of the Macmillan government, with Labour winning under Harold Wilson in 1964. A shooting incident between two of her others lovers caused the press to investigate her, revealing that her affairs could be threatening national security.
