Stephen Hawking Breakthrough Project will monitor Interstellar for alien technology

Scientists will monitor an interstellar body by one of the biggest telescopes of the world for the sign of alien technology. The Green Bank telescope will examine spotted mysterious object to check the alien signals. The observation project will be carried out by the Breakthrough Listen(A Global astronomical program searching for evidence of other civilizations). The cigar-shaped object was first spotted by the Scientists in October on the Pan -starrs Telescope, as it flies through Solar system. (The Panoramic Survey Telescope&Rapid Response System)

The Green Bank telescope located in West Virginia will listen to radio signals from 'Oumuamua across the four different radio transmission bands. The Biggest telescope can catch the signals as small as those that come from a cell phone. The Mysterious object named Oumuamua is located twice as far from Earth as the sun. The 400 meter-long interstellar body is ten times longer than it is wide,  but its shape is unlike anything is seen before in the Universe.

Breakthrough Listen project
The Breakthrough Listen project was launched by Stephen Hawking in 2015 and is funded by Russian billionaire Yuri Milner. It aims to listen for radio signals coming from potential other civilizations outside our solar system.
